Pop legend Jimmy Osmond will make his Scottish pantomime debut playing an evil sorcerer in Aladdin over Christmas.

The youngest member of the Osmond dynasty has just been signed up as Abanazer in the popular show which will be staged at His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen.

Jimmy still tours with his family with the Osmonds recently announcing a U.K. tour this autumn.

But he is now looking forward to spending the festive season with his wife and four children in the Granite City.
