The inaugural Simplyhealth Great Aberdeen Run took place today (27 August) with 8000 people taking part in a 10k, half marathon and Family Run. The event was started by Olympic silver medallist swimmer Robbie Renwick, who set the runners on their way before running the 10k himself. More info: www.greatrun.org/aberdeen
